ASBESTOS COURSE The Professional Engineer in Illinois | Professional Development | Students and Youth ISPE in conjunction with Hinds Environmental, Inc. presents each year an Asbestos Recertification Course. All individuals who have received certification under the AHERA program are required to annually renew their certification by attending an accredited recertification course within 365 calendar days of the issuance of their last certificate. In order to help individuals meet these requirements, the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers, in conjunction with Hinds Environmental, Inc., will conduct EPA-IDPH approved asbestos recertification courses for Contractors/Supervisors, Building Inspectors, Management Planners and Project Designers. Schedule & Fees Wednesday, February 6, 2008 or Building Inspector + Management Thursday, February 7, 2008 Registration fees include course materials, instruction and certificate. Lunch will be available in the University of Illinois at Springfield (UIS) cafeteria, but is not included in the registration price. As usual, all classes will be held in the UIS Public Affairs Center (PAC) Building. UIS is located south of Springfield with easy access from I-55 and I-72. Click here a map and directions. Parking for course attendees is free, provided you use Parking Lot C which is directly north of the UIS PAC. Parking violations will be issued for unstickered parking in other UIS lots. A full refund will be made for cancellations received by January 30, 2008. No refunds will be made after that date, but substitutions will be accepted.
